Job#: Linux/PERL Scripting + Mysql Senior Developer
For a USA based client, to take over the development of proprietary Email delivery software and will participate in full life-cycle development of enterprise-level mail application and tool sets. Must be strategic thinker, have serious analytical and problem solving skills, demonstrate excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate would also be expected to track and stay current with email industry best practices and trends and have an understanding of the various dimensions of email delivery and deliverability.

Responsibilities

• Architecture, Configuration, and Development of existing email infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS.
• SMTP protocols. Perl Scripting. Strong Linux administration experience. Experience with Port25's Power MTA is a plus.

The Web Developer position at TIU Consulting is responsible for extremely good programming in various PHP Projects to ensure efficient execution of Projects. The position reports to the Software Development Manager.

Responsibilities

• Strong Technical expertise in PHP.
• Good Coding Skills in the PHP platform.
• Good in Creating tables, standards-compliant markup that works across all major browsers.
• Good understanding of PHP Frameworks (CakePHP, Zend, Symfony, Code Igniter).
• Good understanding of E-Commerce (ZenCart, Magento).
• PHP/MySQL coding for database-driven, custom-designed websites
• Basic Knowledge of AJAX.
• Good Understanding of Web Content Managements Systems (Word press, Joomla, Drupal).
• Good understanding of Object Oriented Programming experience in PHP.
• Good Debugging and Trouble Shooting Skills in PHP.
• Good Experience in developing and designing large web sites using PHP.
• Meet the project deadlines efficiently.
• Fundamental understanding of Software Development Life Cycle Management.
• Good understanding of Low Level Design Documents.
• Good Understanding of various Data Base Technologies & SQL Query Optimization.
• Mentor juniors in the project and do Peer Code reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelors of Engineering, MCA or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Minimum three plus years experience.
• Demonstrated organizational, detail orientation, prioritization skills and time management skills to ensure that work related activities are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
• Good communication skills to effectively deal with various levels of management.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a professional and positive manner.
